Frequently Asked Questions
Is my extended health plan going to cover my treatment? If so, how much?
Individual plans vary in terms of how much is covered. In some cases, they will cover a specific amount per visit, and in others, they will cover a percentage of the fee. A yearly cap is also usually included in most plans. In case of reimbursement concerns, it is best to contact your extended health provider before making an appointment.
Can you directly bill to my extended health plan?
Yes! We direct bill to a vast majority of insurance companies. Please note that at this time we are not accepting any ICBC clients seeking Registered Massage Therapy services.
Do you offer student discounts?
We offer discounted chiropractic services for students at SFU, UBC, CAP U, and many more. Please check the details of your student care health benefits to see if you are eligible.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
You do not need to have a referral to be treated by one of our practitioners. If you are covered by your extended health care plan, be sure to check your policy to see if a referral is needed in order to be reimbursed for the treatments.
Is there a cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. A cancellation fee of 50% will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment. Same day cancellations and no-show appointments will be charged with a 100% fee. Cancellation fees will be charged at the time of your next session.
